Perhaps the sailboats moored in Port Vell and Port Olympic have aroused your curiosity, or perhaps you´ve always loved the sea. Various companies offer the opportunity to go on an excursion by sail boat, such as the Business Yachtclub Barcelona who offer a three hour sailing experience suitable for beginners or experts alike. You can either learn the ropes, or just sit back and enjoy the Barcelona waterfront from a different perspective. After a quick safety briefing, the skipper teaches you basic sailing skills such as how to steer and work the sails, and then hands over to you. There are two excursions per day (10.30-13.30 and 14.30-17.30) with an extra one during the summer months leaving at 18.00, perfect for a relaxing evening cruise. This costs 75€/person – or just 50€ if you have a Connect Club Privilege Card!

If this leaves you wanting more then the club also offers 2 day private intensive sailing lessons with a professional skipper, for 490€ with an additional 75€ per day for a guest. By the end you won´t be forgetting the difference between east and west nor your tacking and gibing. The Yachtclub can also organise corporate events, with 7 colleagues on each boat as they focus their teamwork and newly acquired skills by racing in Regatta-like conditions. And couples need look no further than their exclusive romantic package with boat and skipper for 290€. Excursions leave from the Marina Port Vell (Metro Line 4 nearest station Barceloneta).

Es con orgullo que puedo afirmar que Business Yachtclub Barcelona se lleva las dos primeras plazas del grupo 5.
