Business Yachtclub Barcelona was created to host corporate events. Not only our company name reflects it but also our sailing boat names (management, communication, ...). Business Yachtclub Barcelona is leader in organizing and managing of nautical events, team building and incentives. The team building program is developed together with FUNNY POP, our exclusive partner, with the objective to develop management skills making use of the world of sail boat racing. Each case study is unique and focussed on the necessity of the group. The participants will be divided in teams and naturally forced to make decisions of managerial character. In this nautical environment, Sail and Team Business Sailing will reflect on the abilities of personal effectiveness (auto-control, decision taking, time management, adaptation to change,), interpersonal skills (teamwork, communication, leadership,) and business skills (business vision, orientation to results, administration of resources,). This formative activity combines a theoretical part workshop room - with a practical part out on the water. The "indoor" as well as the "outdoor" sessions are designed to work on specific skills. No sailing experience is necessary. On board of the regatta sail boats (J/80) the participants, under the leadership of a skippers, face diverse circumstances with clear managerial analogy, in a constantly changing environment (sea, wind, waves,). All final conclusions and reflections should help the participants to produce a strategic Plan of Action. This unique atmosphere, the sea and the Marina Port Vell of Barcelona, will absorb you and bring a breeze of fresh air into your firm. Why Business Yachtclub Barcelona: OUR STRUCTURE: We own a fleet of identical J80. We are not an agency or reseller, we are a Sailing Club. BYC has a private fleet of 4 J80 unit. We actually manage 13 J80s in Barcelona. We can manage events for up to 78 people on J80s identical boats. OUR LOCATION: We are located in the city centre, at the Marina Port Vell, next to Born area and Barceloneta with easy access by taxi and auto bus. We are near to hotels and restaurant to guarantee any hospitality service added. OUR STAFF: Expert skippers, hostesses, English and Spanish speaking.
