Each member has a personal code that, together with their email, allows them to book any activity. Enter the website www.business-yachtclub.com, choose Member Area on the right and in the Charter Calendar or Navigation Calendar (according to your member profile)  click on the activity that interests you, by inserting email and personal code you can make the reservation.
For each reservation you receive a confirmation email with the date and time of departure. If for some reason you do not have internet access, it is possible to reserve by phone at 610 766 511.

This is a small guide to know what kind of navigation I should sign up for.
LEVEL 1
SAILING CLASS ON J80: Basic notions, sail trimming. Improve all maneuvers.
CRUISE PREPARATION: Initiation class with review of the necessary check-in/out in a rental
ENGINE MANEUVER CLASS: Training of maneuvers at port, gas station and different wind situations
ANCHOR TRAINING CLASS: Training of anchoring maneuvers in different situations


LEVEL 2
J80 RACE TRAINING: Improve maneuvering speed, take advantage of opponents' weaknesses, regulations
ELECTRONICS ON CRUISE: Sailing with the help of technology. Grib files, routing, AIS and much more.
NIGHT NAVIGATION ON A CRUISE: Night navigation training, safety maneuvers, lights and astronomy
SAILING HOLIDAYS : Navigation of several days in which all the fundamental aspects of the journeys are covered


LEVEL 3
GENNAKER TRAINING IN J80: Preparation of the maneuver, lifting and lowering, jibes and the most common errors.
BYC TROPHY - J80 RACE: J80 one-design regattas for sailing and charter members, final cava glass
CMPO RACE WITH GENNAKER: Interclub regatta and different categories, with gennaker
OFF SHORE REGATTAS: Participate in offshore regattas to Balearic Islands!

To include guests in your reservations, simply choose the number of people who will come with you in the guest list on the reservation website. If you do not want to bring any guests, leave the number of guests at zero.

To modify the number of guests (add or remove) you have to cancel your reservation and make another reservation with the correct number. Remember that you can cancel your reservation only up to 48 hours before the activity, after that it is not possible.

It is possible to cancel a SAILING reservation free of charge 48 hours in advance by entering your personal page with your membership code and email. It is possible to cancel a CHARTER reservation free of charge 7 days in advance by entering your personal page with your membership code and email.

Activities are cancelled in case of wind above force 6, storm warning or heavy rain. You must also show up at the port and the weather conditions will be assessed together with the club skippers. In case of cancellation there is no cost and the activity can be recovered in the current month. If you live far away, call and we will advise you further in advance.

If you want to sail on a day that is not scheduled in the departure calendar, you can contact: reservas@business-yachtclub.com and ask for a private departure.
Price: You rent the J80 at the charter member price (€69 during the week or €99 on the weekend) and add the cost of the skipper, which is €85 for members.

At Business Yacht Club we never close and we always charge the same, winter and summer. Every month is a good month for sailing!

We recommend bringing nautical shoes or shoes with rubber soles (not black) and navigation gloves. In winter, waterproof pants, a windproof jacket and a hat.

Four days in advance is enough time to avoid availability problems. If you ever feel like going out surfing at the last minute, try the website, there are often still places available until the last minute!

You must arrive at the port 15 minutes before departure time. If you arrive on time, you will wait for the member, although you have to think about the other people who arrive on time and want to leave. If you arrive late, you will miss the departure. If you are a charter member, the boat is at your disposal at the time of the reservation.

It is always a good habit to notify by phone if you do not arrive on time. If you arrive with very little delay, try to go to the pontoon and see if the boat is still moored, although this possibility is not guaranteed.

In the event of a last-minute unforeseen event that prevents you from going sailing, notify the telephone service number 610 766 511 so that they do not wait for you. If there is a health reason, the medical certificate can be sent and the departure can be recovered another day.

In general it is NOT possible to recover departures the following month, however we understand that there are particular cases.
Activities can be recovered if:

1.) The member has a physical problem that prevents him from sailinf. It is necessary to send a medical certificate by email.
2.) The activity has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
3.) Each member has the possibility of recovering one month a year for personal reasons, a recovery voucher valid for three months will be sent to them.

The coupon is used to make a free sailing activity and is valid for 90 days as indicated in the accompanying email. You have to use them when you make your second reservation of the month, you will see that there is a space where you can insert "Discount coupon." It is where there is also the option to indicate the number of guests.

To cancel your membership in the club, simply send a cancellation notification email to: reservas@business-yachtclub.com. The email must be sent before the 20th of the month, otherwise the cancellation will take place the following month. The cancellation process has no cost.

On the website www.business-yachtclub.com choose on the right hand side of the menu “Member Area ”, "My Reservations" enter email and personal code and you can review the entire reservation history.

In this case you must send an email to: admin@business-yachtclub.com possibly explaining the error found. First of all, we recommend that you check your departure history on the website.

To qualify to charter our sailboats, it is essential to have a valid sailing licence and demonstrate proficiency in mooring, unmooring maneuvers, and reefing sails. Shared classes are available on our sailing calendar for individuals seeking guidance on these topics.

1. CHARTER MEMBER QUALIFICATION

IMPORTANT POINTS:

• Qualification on specific boats (J80 and cruising sailboat such as Hanse 345, First 36.7, Sun Odyssey 36i) limits rentals to those particular vessels.
• To charter both types of boats, you must complete both qualifications.

QUALIFICATION FOR J80s:

• Qualification for J80 is achieved through a private sailing session with a skipper BYC to review check-in, check-out, mooring maneuvers, entry/exit procedures, and reefing.
  
• Charter prices for our members are: Precios Charter 2026 (deducting the monthly membership fee of 39€).
  
• An additional €85 skipper fee, paid in cash at the port, is required.

• Schedules to choose from monday to sunday at 10:30, 14:30 or 18:00 (only in summer)

QUALIFICATION FOR CRUISING SAILBOAT (Hanse 345, First 36.7, Sun Odyssey 36i)

• Qualification for cruising sailboat is achieved through a private sailing session with an instructor.
• Charter prices for our members are: Precios Charter 2026(deducting the monthly membership fee of 39€).
• An additional €85 instructor fee, paid in cash at the port, is required.
• The private sailing session includes 2 hours of navigation for reviewing mooring, unmooring maneuvers, and reefing, plus a third hour at the port to familiarize you with other cruising sailboats.

Preparation to become a charter member is individual. In general, after 6-8 activities with a skipper, the member begins to have the security and capacity necessary for simple charter sailing with controlled weather.

Charter members are not allowed to sail alone on the club's boats; a minimum of two people must be on board.

yes, it is possible to book the club's boats by the week. Please contact reservas@business-yachtclub.com to request availability and a quotation. If you would like to make a crossing to the Balearic Islands, the minimum rental period is one week. The gennaker must be reserved in advance by email (reservas@business-yachtclub.com). The cost is €30 for the J80s and 50€ for the First 367 and is payable in port upon delivery. The gennaker must be returned dry, properly furled, and unbroken. If a wet gennaker is returned, an additional €25 will be charged for drying and furling it. If you do not wish to pay this fee, you can stay in port to dry and furl the sail.

Charter members can participate in all activities, with and without a skipper and participate in all parties, events, conferences, etc. organized by the club.

If you are a sailing member, you do not need to have a high level of sailing to participate in the regattas. Likewise, you cannot go without any previous experience. Club members have a special 50% discount in the Port Olimpic indoor parking.
How to get the discount:
- collect the ticket when entering the Port Olimpic parking lot
- go to the captain's building and enter said ticket in the machine located in the offices, you will receive another ticket to leave the parking lot.
- When you leave you have to pay with the new ticket. The discount is applied to the total time of stay, the ticket can be validated both upon arrival and upon departure but always during the captain's opening hours.

Only for charter partners. If you rent the rib boat, you must refuel on your return to the port; the tank is full and is returned full. The boat can be rented only as a charter member. Price according to schedules, ask reservas@business-yachtclub.com.
